Decent food

If there was an option to give this place 100 stars I would because it is my pride and joy. I go here when I am happy, sad and all the times in between. I will never be grateful enough for this restaurant- they are more than satisfactory. If I were unfortunate enough to have to choose my last meal on this earth, you KNOWWWWWWW I will be at La Plaza... 10/10 recommend.

Great Tacos, good price

Best authentic taqueria in town easily and for that matter north of the border. I hesitate to write a review for fear of not being able to get in the door, but the secret is out. This is the place for locals looking for authentic fresh Mexican food in a casual atmosphere. Everything on the menu is outstanding here. I have searched the world for carnitas that come close but there is none. The prices are extremely reasonable and the portions are very satisfying. The service is always friendly and inviting. This place is family owned and operated and is a wonderful slice of Mexico that you just can't find everyday. The carniceria and grocery store is a one stop shop for all your needs. Cooking at home? They have it all.

Food was good but not phenomenal. You pay extra for toppings, no chips with your food. Very authentic and better than Taco Bell.

This place has some of the best tacos I’ve ever had in my entire life. This is not a joke. It is a must try if you want tacos and are in auburn. The flavor of the tacos is so rich and authentic. Do yourself a favor and give these guys a visit, you will not be disappointed.

For tacos, based on the price, it is worth. I believe it is better than el dorado at lease in taco wise.

BEST TACOS IN AUBURN!!! No one else competes with these tacos. Girlfriend had Barbacoa and Pastor tacos and those were AMAZING, better then my steak tacos which were also really good!!! You will not be dissapointed!

Actual Mexican food. One of the few places you can get real Mexican food. Tacos de tripa are the best. Worth the wait no matter what.

Slow service. Food is ok but the service is just ridiculously slow. I was the only customer and had to wait to get my order in and had to wait a very long time to pay.

Traditional Mexican cuisine. The staff is friendly and helpful and the food is very good. As a rule if I enter an ethnic food restaurant and find most of the patrons to of that particular ethnicity, I am certain that I will be served an excellent meal. In other words a Mexican restaurant full of Mexican people is a very good thing. That is exactly what you get here. I will be back very often.

Great authentic street tacos

Horrible. Made my tacos wrong, didn’t give me the beans and rice I paid for or the sauce I asked for. Plain nasty tacos. Disgusting. Tried to call and they didn’t even answer.

Gangster... Delicious... Get in my belly.The Al Pastor Pork is exceptional. In fact, all of their meat choices are exceptional. A couple Al pastor Tacos is a must. The salsa bar is excellent as well.The Tacos are a must. The nachos are piled so high you will need a nap after. Visit the store on the side opposite the restaurant for imported products at reasonable prices. I get my valentina, black beans, plantains, spices etc. there.As far as service, this is a family operated establishment and I have always been served in a polite and professional manner.

La Plaza has great tacos for $2 each & a nice salsa bar. I see complaints about the service on here. I've never had a bad experience, but I would go here anyway even if I did.

Best tacos I've ever tried in all USA...

This was my second visit. First visit, they let me order a dish not on the menu. Though they may not want me saying that! Was a big deal as my girlfriend wanted chilaquiles verdes and our usual place sold out to new owners. Second trip, ordered the shrimp tostadas, thought I was getting myself a light brunch before the game. The portions were generous for ceviche.Girlfriend ordered the asada torta and she loved it.

Fire! And Chill. Got to love Latinos.

Not bad and not the best. I cant say it's entirely like the real thing. Growing up eating real Mexican and Texmex food puts things in diff perspective. Still hunting for good Mexican food for those days I don't care to cook.
